In this lesson, students will watch a Prezi presentation to gather information about cyberbullying. Bullying has expanded from face-to-face contact to bullying via Internet, so I thought it was important for students to know that not only what they say to someone in person can hurt their feelings, but also what they say on the using a computer.

C/T K-2.3 Make responsible decisions—grounded in knowledge of digital safety and security best practices—that pertain to various digital communication tools and methods.
D.Identify and model responsible behaviors when using information and technology. Identify strategies to address bullying situations involving electronic devices.
Lesson # 3
Lesson #3: Famous Americans Project and Famous Americans Timeline http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/timeline_2/
In this lesson, students will look at a timeline to gather information about Famous Americans. Students will then use the Internet to find out more information about one of the Famous Americans we talked about in class and will then present their findings with a coat hanger biography.

Solids, Liquids, and Gases! Oh My! WebQuest and Lesson Plan

In this lesson, sutdents will navigate a WebQuest to gather information about the three main phases of matter. Students will use the Internet resources provided to them to discover more about matter and how everything around us is matter! Students will also do some creative writing and include information about the phases of matter in a fun and engaging way using an Internet storybook.

MY ASSIGNMENTS
This semester I was enrolled in an Instructional Technologies course (INDT 501) with Dr. Coffman. In this course, we explored different ways to utilize technology effectively in our lesson planning. I want my students to not only learn a lot in my classroom, but to have fun doing it!
